After another year of auditions filled with talented teens, we’re excited to announce the eleven singers who have been selected for the 2025 Teaneck Teen Idol Contest:

The Teaneck Teen Idol Contest – now in its 17th year – is open to boys and girls in 7th to 12th grades, 13 to 18 years old, who either live in Teaneck or go to school in Teaneck.
Between now and the contest the 11 contestants named above will be coached for song choice, vocals, and performance. And then it’s time to perform!
Contest: Saturday, January 11, 2025, 8 pm, Teaneck High School.
Always a great, fun, exciting night! Finalists sing in front of a live audience.* Judges select the top 5 singers. The top 5 perform a second song and the audience votes for the winner. *Performance order will be adjusted to Sabbath needs.
Prizes: The Teaneck Teen Idol receives a free, invaluable recording session of 3 songs at an award-winning recording studio in NYC, a $500 cash prize and the opportunity to sing with the Teaneck Community Chorus.
First and second runners up receive cash prizes too.
Fun Facts about the Contest: Two Teaneck Teen Idol winners have appeared on The Voice! Two middle school students have won. Many middle school and high school students have returned to audition and compete again and again because they had a good time and wanted to win. It’s an amazing experience no matter if you are a 7th grader or a senior – or a member of the audience rooting for a classmate!
